A Little Story
Growing up in the mid-west, I was a big boy and was taught to finish the food on my plate and I did, sometimes more than one. I played hard and ate big.
As I remember, I was probably one of the biggest kids among my friends. I was big-boned, (FAT Boy) you could say.
I played many sports growing up including hockey, baseball, and football and really enjoyed it. When I was older around middle school I started boxing and then later did Muay Thai; this is when I became very lean.
Then I started strength training, doing powerlifting style compound movements and thought I needed to gain weight to gain the ultimate strength. That has some truth to it, but is not necessary.
So, I ate like crazy to get as big and strong as possible putting on over 50lbs in a year. I did get a lot stronger and put on some muscle, but it was not worth feeling and looking like crap.
I didn’t like the way I looked and felt. So, I decided to make a change and drop some weight.
With a solid fitness and nutrition plan I lost 50lbs without losing much muscle within 9 months. My strength in the gym took a minor dive, but I am getting back to where I want to be while feeling and looking better.
It takes hard work and dedication to achieve any goal. With a proper nutrition plan combined with experimental strength and conditioning programming, I was able to lose fat, keep muscle, and feel great again.
To look in the mirror when you get out the shower and like what you see is a good thing.
It is fuel for motivation to do anything fitness or business related. Not to mention a great sex life! Sex is better when you feel good about yourself.
You can love better when you love your self first.
I’m married to my college sweetheart and I have 4 children, 3 boys and a girl, I am truly blessed. I thank the Lord God daily for my family, they are my world.
The support of good people around you is priceless.
It is hard to accomplish big things when there is nobody to hold you accountable.

I have a passion for helping people achieve their fitness and nutrition goals. I have the ability to help you transform your body and mind into a temple of discipline through a variety of combined fitness activities and proper diet.
I enjoy strength training with weights, kettlebells, body weight exercises, boxing drills, and other outdoor activities. I have learned a lot about fitness and nutrition through my own research and trial and error.
Having a proper diet is a lifestyle and not a 7-day gimmick.
I learned how my body responded to certain foods and I began to look at food as fuel for what I needed to do for that day. I stopped eating just to eat and began to understand what macros are and how they break down into total calorie intake.
I found what my base calorie intake was for training days and non-training days and the weight began to melt off slowly, but consistently!
Losing fat is a marathon not a sprint!
I went from 250lbs to 200lbs in less than a year without losing muscle and I am slowly getting back the strength I had when I was bigger.
Patience and persistence is the name of the game. I stayed focused, disciplined, and put in the work!
