“When times get tough, the tough get going!” We may be away from the normal daily routine at times, but that does not have to stop you from being physically active and pursuing your fitness goals. Sometimes you need to think outside the box and try new things. This might be extremely beneficial to your mental health as well.
Due to unexpected events it is better to be prepared and willing to adapt to the changes than become stagnant within your isolation and do nothing. Now more than ever is it important for us to better ourselves in every way possible. So, this means if you had goals to become healthier mentally and physically don’t let the unknown stop you from becoming the best version of yourself.
You still have options and there still are choices for all of us to make to become more than what we were before. Do not allow negativity to poison your fountain of youth.
I have come up with some home gym ideas under $1000 that may be a little different from what you’re used to, but can ultimately get you fit and create mental toughness. Now is the time to invest in yourself and turn the lemons into lemon aid! Let’s get it!
Training with kettlebells is one of the most effective ways to strengthen muscle throughout the body and provide conditioning; allowing you to burn more calories and improve endurance. Kettlebells have been popular for nearly 100 years and will never breakdown. This means that they are a wise investment that can be passed on to generations in your family.
Kettlebells are so versatile by providing a full-body workout with a large variety of exercises that are easy to learn and perform. 2. Rowing Machine
Indoor rowing is an effective full-body, low-impact workout that will work just about every muscle group in your body from head to toe. Rowing is a great cardiovascular workout that will increase your fitness level and help to relieve stress.
Not having access to a gym can leave you with not knowing what to do, but with an indoor rowing machine you can build muscle and rapidly increase your endurance.

3. Air Bike
An air bike is a stationary exercise bike that responds to the exerciser’s output and helps to reduce wasted energy for more efficient, effective workouts while burning the most calories in the shortest amount of time.
The love for fitness can start at a young age or later in life as you become more interested and want to improve your health.
When you begin your fitness journey you will learn that over time you can form great habits that will benefit you by helping to provide results that can enhance your life.

4. Yoke Frame
This is where you put a yoke frame on your upper-back similar to a squat rack position and walk for distance with it. This will literally build every muscle in your body and provide excellent endurance at the same time.
A lot of yoke racks allow for other compound exercise like squats and presses because they have pre-drilled holes that allow for J-hooks to rack a barbell. The yoke walk is a great full-body workout that will require maximum effort and produce fully functional results.

Try Something New!
To be honest, my first option when building a home gym would be for most people to invest in a squat stand or power rack with all the other bells and whistles, but right now it might be difficult to find affordable equipment that is actually in stock or you could risk over paying because the demand is super high right now.
This is why I am trying to help by thinking outside the box and provide some ideas to those that are looking to find some kind of home gym equipment that may be more likely available.
