Product Review

Valor Fitness Equipment is a well-known name in the fitness industry and provides many great products to fill your gym with.

I do own this bench and use it as my primary bench 3-4 days a week for the last 5+ years. This bench is sturdy and built to last.

If you are looking for a top-notch built flat bench then the Valor Fitness DA-6 is the right choice. For under $200 you will not find a better bench in my opinion.

This bench can handle heavy pressing with a max of 750 lbs. Unless you are the all-time world record bench press champion(Julius Maddox) this bench will work just fine for you.

The way this bench is constructed is what sold me on it. It has a tri-pod design frame base, so you don’t have to worry about moving your feet around the base of the bench to get in a good position.

Also, it’s measurements are very similar to a competition bench standards. If you plan to do any powerlifting competitions you’re going to want a solid bench that is close as possible to what you will be competing on.

If you have the money to invest in a complete competition bench set-up then go for it, but this bench will get the job done.

Features

Valor Fitness has loaded this bench with all of the best qualities you look for in a bench.

When I tell you that this bench is built to last, I mean it.

I have had my Valor Fitness Flat Bench for many years without one major problem. The reason for this is because it’s made to handle the abuse of hard-core training.

  • Made in the USA
  • 2″ x 4″ 12-Gauge steel frame
  • High density pad
  • Base support with rubber caps
  • High impact built-in wheels and non-slip handle for easy mobility
  • 750 lb. weight capacity

As you can see, this bench features all the requirements of a top-notch bench for less than $175.

This is a steal at this price compared to what other products offer that cost more.

The Valor Fitness DA-6 Flat Bench has actually added upgrades since I got mine and dropped the price.

My bench doesn’t have the high-impact wheel and handle feature and guess what, I payed more for mine. I’m not mad about it, I feel I still got a great bench and it’s a worthy investment for my home gym.

If you are reading this now and are looking for a flat bench, click on the link below and BUY NOW before the price goes back up or they sell out.

When I saw this price with the upgrades, I couldn’t believe it.

Pros/ Cons

The best things I like about this bench are the design and it’s durability. The tri-pod base is key to finding an effective set-up for your bench press. You don’t want to be foot wrestling and fighting for foot space with the base of a bench.

Also, the Valor Fitness DA-6 is built like a tank, but not so heavy it’s a workout in itself to move. It’s highly mobile with the newly added high-impact wheel and non-slip handle feature; making it easier to move for your convenience.

The only thing that could be improved is that the pad is a little slippery, but I have come to find that even the best high-end competition benches are too. So, I recommend using something to help keep you from sliding and losing position during your bench press.

This is going to be more common in people that use leg drive during their bench press. I put a couple resistance bands and problem solved, but if you are just starting out lifting for general strength training this shouldn’t be and issue for you.

Exercise Selection

Selecting the right exercises is the key to building muscle and strength. With the Valor Fitness DA-6 Flat Bench you can do several highly effective full-body workout routines that will fast-track you to building the physique you want.

Some of the best exercises I do:

  • Bench Press
  • Dumbbell Press
  • Pec Fly
  • Triceps Extensions
  • Push-Ups
  • Seated Rear Delt Fly
  • Pull-Overs
  • Step-Ups
  • Rear Leg Elevated Split Squats
  • Bench Squats
  • Leg Raises
  • V-Crunches
  • Oblique Twists

There are more than enough effective exercises you can do with this bench that will produce results and help you accomplish your goals.

If building muscle and strength is the plan then this is the bench for you, because you can use this bench for heavy compound movements to work larger muscle groups and also isolation exercises to target specific muscle groups that need more attention.

Excellent Quality, Excellent Price!

There are a lot of different benches, but if you are looking for an excellent quality flat bench at an excellent price then the Valor Fitness DA-6 is the right choice.

I highly recommend this bench because it’s a high quality bench that is built to last many years and will help you achieve your fitness goals.

Some people may think that all benches are the same and what could be so different.

I’m here to tell you the difference and to save you the extra money you will spend if you buy a crappy bench that will breakdown after a few workouts and potentially be dangerous if this happens while you’re working out.

This bench is a great investment and will hold-up well for home or commercial use.

Make a great decision and get the Valor Fitness DA-6 Flat Bench, you will not regret it!
