I have had my Valor Fitness Decline Bench for a while now and haven’t had one problem with it. I can’t imagine a more sturdy bench that has 14 adjustable positions that can offer so much variety for your workouts. Not only can you do your pressing movements, but also decline sit-ups… which is one of the best ab exercises you can do.
It’s safe to say, that with these features and quality of the craftsmanship you will never need to buy another decline bench again.
This bench has everything you would want in a decline bench. It’s built to the highest standard giving you piece of mind knowing that it’s safe and will hold up to the demands of many workouts over the years.
The bench is constructed with a dual-layered 2.5” thick vinyl padding that will give great support for the back and legs during exercises. The only thing I don’t like is that the pad tapers in the shoulder area to 10″ which is a bit less than a standard bench that is about 11-12″ wide. I can’t say it’s caused any problems or discomfort. It seems that this pad design is typical among most adjustable benches… at least the ones I have gotten.
I have used this bench many times, and the pros by far out-weigh the cons. Also, most people can lift more weight in a decline position while getting more chest muscle recruitment and protecting the shoulders from over rotation. A decline bench is a must if you’re trying to build a bigger and stronger upper-body.
