This decline bench is constructed to be used in a commercial gym… able to handle workout after workout. With this in mind, Valor Fitness has made some of the best benches available that are considerably more affordable than other comparable benches.

The Valor Fitness DF-1 is loaded with all the best qualities you look for in a bench including heavy-duty construction and supportive padding to give you piece of mind when you’re exercising.

I have had my Valor Fitness Decline Bench for a while now and haven’t had one problem with it. I can’t imagine a more sturdy bench that has 14 adjustable positions that can offer so much variety for your workouts. Not only can you do your pressing movements, but also decline sit-ups… which is one of the best ab exercises you can do.

It’s safe to say, that with these features and quality of the craftsmanship you will never need to buy another decline bench again.

Pros/ Cons

This bench has everything you would want in a decline bench. It’s built to the highest standard giving you piece of mind knowing that it’s safe and will hold up to the demands of many workouts over the years.

The bench is constructed with a dual-layered 2.5” thick vinyl padding that will give great support for the back and legs during exercises. The only thing I don’t like is that the pad tapers in the shoulder area to 10″ which is a bit less than a standard bench that is about 11-12″ wide. I can’t say it’s caused any problems or discomfort. It seems that this pad design is typical among most adjustable benches… at least the ones I have gotten.

I have used this bench many times, and the pros by far out-weigh the cons. Also, most people can lift more weight in a decline position while getting more chest muscle recruitment and protecting the shoulders from over rotation. A decline bench is a must if you’re trying to build a bigger and stronger upper-body.

Exercise Selection

This bench has 14 adjustable positions to accommodate for different exercise selections. From a flat position to a steep decline so that your workouts can have more variety. By adjusting the angle of the bench it gives you a different stimulus with more opportunity to build muscle and strength.

14 Adjustable Positions including:

  • Decline Bench Press
  • Decline Sit-ups
  • Flat Bench Press
  • Triceps Extensions

Also, this bench is great for accessory exercises with dumbbells too. A great way to build lagging muscle groups like the chest and triceps.

It’s said that the decline bench press is superior for total muscle activation for the pectoral muscles. Many great bodybuilders claim that the decline bench is the key to a bigger and stronger chest.

The decline bench is ideal for doing triceps exercises because of the angle providing more stretch during the eccentric (down) phase and an increased opportunity for greater contraction during the concentric (up) phase.

With these options you can be sure that you will be building more muscle and getting stronger at the same time.

One of the Best!

I have seen many other decline benches that look like broke down ironing boards, just waiting to snap at any moment. That’s not what you want to be thinking about with a couple hundred pounds in your hands. The Valor fitness DF-1 decline bench is solid and will hold up to your workouts demands.

Some benches are made as a product to sell without the thought of safety and longevity. Not the Valor Fitness DF-1 Decline Bench; it’s a strong bench that will help get you stronger. If you’re going to get a decline bench… this is the one!

Valor Fitness makes great quality benches that are affordable. I have the DA-6 Flat Bench also, and that is why I decided to get their decline bench. When you find good quality products that are made to last, you realize it’s an investment and not a waste of money.

Get one and see for yourself!
